Template Chooser

In case you haven't noticed, I downloaded an awesome extension : Template Chooser which is a great way to skin your site. It is easy to install and use, and neat to display.

I also added Japan travel. I'm kinda too lazy to add articles and pictures for the moment now..

Youtube Videos

Organized the right navigation and sub-links, added my favorite youtube videos.

Please note that these videos are NOT MADE BY ME and I am not claiming otherwise, I am simply posting them up because they have been helpful/interesting.
PLEASE DONT MESSAGE ME ABOUT THEM, or ask me the songs used or ask me anything related to the creation/uploading of the video, unless you are the owner and want me to put them down.. MERCI. :)

Jaggy Blog et al

I purchased Jaggy Blog for £5 and disposing of Smart Blog. Smart Blog is just not very easy to configure. In the end, I'm willing to cash out money for quality, instead of getting not-so-neat things for free. Jaggy Blog is the cheapest among the Joomla! blog extensions. And it's worth it - because you use the existing Joomla! article manager, there is almost no need to reconfigure so that it adapts to your site layout almost automatically. What's the use of free things that don't fit you? So go and support Jaggy Blog, it's worth your money. :)

Ironically, I'm not using Jaggy Blog to post this. I'm still using Prof3ta's Blog - why? I'm keeping it, it's clean, it's easy to use.

New Extensions

I am now using new extensions. Since they are free, I would like to thank the developers by giving them proper credits. of course I will also vote for them in the Joomla! Extensions.

The first one I am using is the Cache Cleaner It cleans your cache so when you reload, it's sparkling new, reading all your new updates and code changes.

The second one I started using is this one - Prof3ta's Blog. This is developed by Robert Aloi, check the website. The blog is very simple, neat, clean. The good part is that you install it in a few seconds and boom it's ready to use. The bad part is (but good part for me) is that you need to know html to write your blog. If you can't write html, you can always use your neighborhood Adobe Dreamweaver, write in the preview mode and copy and paste the text in the box. The other downpoint is that.. the box is too small for editing. And I haven't figured out how to customize this yet, I mean I hate that big ugly line between posts..

Another blog I started using is the Smart Blog which is not customizable via the Joomla-backend. It works pretty fine so far - but as far as the reviews go, it seemed neglected by the developer. Too bad. It looked promising.

Erased

I've erased the ff extensions :

Lyften Bloggie - never mind that it's popular, the commenting just dont work, and it seems pretty much neglected by the developer.

I've also deactivated the Who's Online Module.

I've also made invisible the Stat Counter
